About the Owner
Meet the Owner of The Bridal Dish® by House of Maya, Maya Holihan: After starting her fashion career in Boston, She relocated to New York and accepted a job with Vera Wang at her flagship bridal house on Madison Avenue. The first day on the job she knew she would be in the bridal industry for the rest of her life – it was home.
2014 will mark TEN YEARS happily serving thousands of Hampton Roads’ very special brides-to-be. To celebrate this milestone and all the success earned over ten years, she has expanded her business and opened second location in Suffolk. The new location, Maya Couture on Main, is in the heart of the historic district and offers more off-the-rack purchasing options of limited edition merchandise at a great price!
As her business has grown, so has the reputation and recognition. Maya Couture was named one of the Top 50 Best Bridal Salons, nationwide, by BRIDE’S Magazine, and we continue to be named a Best Of winner by The Knot, Wedding Wire, Virginia Living Magazine, and many more.
